What you see
- The FiveM folder empties or the shortcut stops working after a run
- It reinstalls and then disappears again
What usually causes it
- Security software removing FiveM after it runs
- An installation location the player's account cannot write to
Worth checking first
- Check the antivirus history and quarantine immediately after it happens
- Check where FiveM is installed and whether that location is protected
Safe steps, one at a time
- Check your antivirus quarantine right after it happens and restore what it took
- Add the FiveM installation folder to exclusions before reinstalling, so the new copy survives
- Install FiveM somewhere your own account owns rather than a protected system location
