Crashes on one server only, versus crashes everywhere
The fastest way to tell whose problem this is: join any other FiveM server for two minutes. If that is fine and AGN is not, it is ours to look at and you should not start reinstalling things.
What you see
- FiveM crashes, and the player has or has not tried another server
What usually causes it
- Crashes EVERYWHERE point at the client, the game install, drivers, memory or security software
- Crashes on ONE server point at that server's resources, streamed assets or an MLO
Worth checking first
- Join any other public FiveM server for a couple of minutes. This single test is worth more than every other check in this library
- Note whether the crash happens at the same place, after the same action, or at random
- Record the crash id if one is shown
Safe steps, one at a time
- Test on another FiveM server before changing anything at all
- If it crashes everywhere: work through the FiveM client entries — cache, components, drivers, antivirus, disk space
- If it crashes only on AGN: stop. Do not reinstall FiveM or GTA V. Send the report to AGN with the location, the action and the crash id so staff can check the resource or asset involved
- Clearing only the FiveM server cache once is the single exception — it is cheap and rules out a partial asset download
These are suggestions, not instructions. Do only what you are comfortable with, back up anything important first, and stop if a step does not match what is on your screen. Advice, risk and responsibility.
When to stop and ask staff
AGN-only crashes are escalated every time. Crashes on every server are a client matter and belong with Cfx.re or the player's PC.

What staff will need
- Result of the other-server test
- Crash id
- Location / MLO / menu / action
- Whether other AGN players crash the same way
Applies to
Record which AGN server (Main/Live or Dev) — they run different resource sets.
