Radio works but proximity voice does not
This one is deliberately separate, because the answer is usually not on your computer at all.
What gets checked, and why
- Everything in the audio checks, to rule your PC in or out
- Network packet loss, which breaks voice first
- Which of radio and proximity actually works
These checks read information. They change nothing on your computer. Repairs are offered separately, one action at a time, and only after you confirm each one.
Worth answering before you ask for help
- Does the radio work?
- Can nearby players hear each other normally?
- Does it happen everywhere, or in one interior or vehicle?

This needs a person, not a diagnostic tool. Please open a ticket and a staff member will pick it up.
If everything else works and only AGN does not, the problem is most likely something we added. Please do not reinstall anything yet โ send us the report first.
If your radio works, your microphone and your headset are fine. What is failing is the part of the server that decides who is close enough to hear you โ that is ours to look at.
Windows can send different sounds to different devices. Usually this is the game talking to a device you are not wearing.
Windows has a privacy switch that can block the microphone for games specifically, even when it works elsewhere.
Since people nearby can hear you, your microphone is fine. This is about the radio itself โ the item, the channel, or its permissions.
The script probably did what you asked but could not tell you so.
Choppy voice is usually the headset link or the network, not the game.
Your microphone is hearing your own speakers, or the same conversation is reaching you twice.
The game chose its audio device when it started. Changing headsets afterwards does not move it.
